The Nordic College of Caring Science (NCCS) is an association of Nordic researchers in the field of caring science. NCCS was founded in Bergen in the autumn of 1980. The association promotes the development of caring science by developing, supporting and disseminating new caring science knowledge nationally and internationally. This is done, among other things, through the Scandinavian Journal of Caring Sciences, which is owned by the association. NCCS organises an annual meeting, a biennial conference, workshops and seminars open to all interested parties. The association has a research fund, the Nordic College of Caring Science Research Fund (NCCSF), through which members of the association can apply for research funding.
