About NCCS

The Nordic College of Caring Science (NCCS) is an association of Nordic researchers in the field of Caring science, NCCS was founded in Bergen in the autumn of 1980. The association promotes the development of Caring science by developing, supporting and disseminating new Caring science knowledge, both nationally and internationally. This is done through the Scandinavian Journal of Caring Sciences, which is owned by the association. NCCS also organizes annual meetings, biennial conferences, workshops and seminars, which are open to anyone interested. Included in the association is a research fund, the Nordic College of Caring Science Research Fund (NCCSF), through which members can apply for research funding.
